The Biggest Risk I've Ever Taken {Honest Share}

Hello Reader,

Back in December, I took a really big risk.

This was one of those big, scary moments of decision. The classic fork in the road.

Kind of like when I pushed the button to sign up for a Half Ironman.

Or when I signed up for Tae Kwon Do as a non-athletic 40 year old and my instructors were little kids who could kick circles around me.

Then there was foster parenting 30+ medically fragile children and adopting two kids with special needs.

And of course, losing 100 pounds and maintaining that for 20+ years is by far the toughest thing I've ever done, because you gotta eat every single day.

If you've been feeling like your weight loss struggles are relentless, all I can say is #preach. The food temptations keep right on coming.

So I'm no stranger to facing up to big, challenging things.

But this turning point back in December was a biggie.

For the last year, we've been running The Holy Mess Weight Loss Membership.

And it's been good.

Well, it's been okay.

Let's face it. We were on the struggle bus.

Here's a vulnerable part that I would rather not share, because I want to come across as successful and confident. (That's what leaders need to be, right?)

The truth is that the Holy Mess Membership was started quickly when my former business, Faithful Finish Lines, closed unexpectedly.

And it wasn't bad. The program we put together was solid, and the material was good.

But it wasn't great. <---- Just typing that sentence pains me.

Women joined regularly, but they also canceled, and each cancelation hurts.

As much as I tried to tell myself "it's just business" ...it's not. Maybe that's true of big corporations, but not The Holy Mess.

We tried to fix things internally. We asked our members for feedback. We made adjustments and improvements. We tweaked. We shifted. We added stuff.

Again and again.

But it wasn't enough.

By this point, it wasn't about dollars or business strategy. I really care about our members and their success.

When they are struggling, I feel it. Some members were losing some weight, but many were stalled out. Participation was getting to be lackluster.

And I really wasn't okay with that.

I knew we had reached a turning point.

We could keep going as we were, doing okay, but never really seeing the success I knew was possible.

But I know what happens to programs like that. They die a slow (painful) death.

So I made a strategic decision.

I asked for help.

I hired experts to lead us in rebuilding the membership from the ground up.

This was the largest one-time financial investment I have ever made in my 12 years of business. This was a scary-push-the-button moment. I sent a payment with a lot of zeros in it.

Then we got to work. They asked me hard questions, and sometimes I didn't have the answers:

  • How exactly are we helping women lose weight?
  • Who are we serving? And perhaps more important, who are we NOT serving?
  • How are we different from 1,000 other weight loss programs out there?

I didn't always have the answers, but I needed to find them.

And deep down a part of me wondered, am I even worthy of leading this? Who am I to think I can create a whole new program?

Yet as with so many beautiful things, the process gave birth to something extraordinary.

We've created a new faith-based weight loss program that is unlike anything you've seen before.

It's called The Holy Weigh, and it's groundbreaking.

This is about weight loss - absolutely, but it's so much more.

The Holy Weigh is on a mission to help chronic dieters reach their goal weight & maintain it for life without shame or starvation by feeding their Soul Hunger to conquer their cravings.

We are stepping up with courage to challenge toxic diet culture.

We are creating a sanctuary for women who've been beaten down by their struggles with food.

We are in a war against shame (which is ALWAYS from the enemy and NEVER works), not our bodies.

We've intentionally included fun surprises and motivation, because weight loss is hard enough. Let's have some joy on this journey for a change.

Now, I'm not here to blow smoke up your behind and tell you this new program is going to be an easy street.

If you are looking for "easy" weight loss, please DO NOT JOIN The Holy Weigh.

  • The Holy Weigh will lighten your load, because you'll know the effort you are putting into it is worth it.
  • The Holy Weigh will guide you to healing your Soul Hunger by allowing God to meet your needs in a way that food never could.
  • The Holy Weigh will be the last weight loss program you ever need.

Look, you're going to be eating anyway. You'd might as well do it in a way that serves your health instead of harming it.

Time is going to pass anyway. You'd might as well spend it moving toward your goal weight instead of away from it.

If this sounds like just what you need, I invite you to get in on the ground floor of this experience.

We're rolling out The Holy Weigh to our current members on April 13, and you can join them.

Click here to see what our members will experience.

Besides getting in at the lowest price, you'll be going through the program together with a group. If you know you are the type of person who needs community support to stick to what you say you're going to do with food, this is your moment.

And if this program is not right for you, that's okay, too. We know we aren't for everyone.

  • If you have absolutely zero time to do anything for yourself right now, don't join.
  • If you don't have $42 a month to take from what you are currently spending on junk food and take out (that's a Twinkie per day), don't join.
  • If you are not going to bother opening the program, then cancel and complain about how it didn't work for you and it's not your fault, please for the love of all that is good, do not join. (The Holy Weight is not about perfection. In fact, we build 20% "off-roading" into the program because we know life happens. But we do want you to try.)

If now IS your time, we are here for you. The Holy Weigh is a faith-based, Biblical weight loss experience...with a touch of rebel + a hefty dose of fun.

I hope you'll consider being one of the first women to experience The Holy Weigh.

Is now your time to get serious about your weight loss and health? Click reply and tell me about it.

Go with grace,

Sara
